How the parking service works?
When booking this additional service, you register your licence plate number in the network of activated car parks via maut1.
1. BARRIER OPENS AUTOMATICALLY ON ENTRY - NO NEED TO TAKE A TICKET
When you drive into the car park, the barrier opens directly and automatically after lightning-fast and automatic recognition of your number plate - without drawing a ticket.
2. BARRIER OPENS AUTOMATICALLY ON EXIT - NO PAYMENT ON SITE
When leaving the car park, the barrier also opens directly and automatically after lightning-fast and automatic recognition of your number plate - without having to pay the parking fee on site.
3. PAYMENT AUTOMATICALLY AND RETROSPECTIVELY
The parking fee will then be paid automatically at a later date via maut1 using the stored payment method - no change or bank transfer required - you will receive the invoice by e-mail.

In the overview map you will find all car parks in Germany that can already be used with the corresponding address.
How can I book the service?
a) You already have a toll box?
Log in to your existing CUSTOMER ACCOUNT, click on the PARKING SERVICE menu item, enter your desired licence plate number and click on ACTIVATE.
b) You would like to order a toll box AND book the parking service?
You can activate the PARKING SERVICE in your customer account after successfully ordering/paying for the toll box at no additional flat-rate cost.
c) You ONLY want to book the car park service via maut1?
You can also add only the PARKING SERVICE product to your shopping basket without a toll box.
Hint: Only for booking our PARKSERVICE without toll box.
ATTENTION: You must enter your licence plates in your customer account under the menu item "Parking service" after successfully placing your order.
How much does valet parking service cost?
We charge a surcharge of €0.50 per parking session and 5% of the parking fees incurred.

Is my toll box already activated for the car parks in Germany?
The toll box is not activated for car parks in Germany. The additional service "Parking in Germany" is a separate service that works independently of the toll box if you have booked this service yourself.
The parking service for the activated German car parks is activated when you see your licence plate number listed in the customer profile under the menu item "Parking service".
If you have not explicitly booked this parking service for German car parks, it is not activated.
In which format do I enter my licence plate number for the valet parking service?
The respective format of the indicator is specified during input.
I did not receive any instructions or documents regarding the car park service with the toll box.
After activating the parking service, you will receive a confirmation from us by e-mail.
Will the parking service still work if I cancel my toll box?
Yes, as long as the parking service is activated, it works independently of the toll box.
Can I change the licence plate number for the valet parking service?
Yes, the licence plate number can be changed as often as required.
Can I store several licence plates?
Yes, several licence plates can be stored at the same time.
Can I use the parking service with a different licence plate number than my toll box?
Yes, as this is a separate service.
How do I deactivate the valet parking service?
You can log in to your customer profile and cancel the service under the menu item "Parking service" by clicking the "Deactivate" button.
How do I know that my licence plate number has been properly recorded?
The automatic opening of the barrier ensures that your specified licence plate number is stored.
What do I do if the barrier does not open?
1. Check whether your licence plate is activated correctly.
2. Check whether your licence plate is legible.
3. If the first two cases do not occur, there is a technical problem with the car park. If this occurs when you enter the car park, take a ticket and pay for it manually. If this occurs when leaving the car park, press the emergency button.
When will I receive the invoice?
You will receive a monthly statement of the parking fees booked.
